Today is a day that the Good Lord called up the love of my life.  Jerry left me this morning for greener pastures after over a year of battling cancer.  He leaves behind precious memories, a foundation for my dreams, a love for his family and a legacy of stories.

My heart is forever broken, my life forever changed because him.  We shared so much together, he always held me up and gave me his all.

In the end, in his suffering, he once again showed he was my knight in shining armor as he took his failing body and gallantly fought to get on the tractor one last time just last Friday to help ME, yet again as I laid my sweet Australian Shepherd, Chase to rest.  He gave me his ever last ounce of love and life--to help me.

I love him so.........
